The Society of North American Goldsmiths has some great resources in their Professional Guideline sections. There is a consignment contract (which I use), a model release if you use models in your photos, and an exhibition contract. There are a ton of other great resources that work for metalsmiths and all other kinds of artists! And it's free!

Ginny, thanks for your comment. Yes, I will post some general outlines on the contracts that I use. I think it will be useful to many people. I'll be sure to make that a new blog post sometime this next month.

I'm glad my posts are helpful to you. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hi Maria,

Firstly, thank you for your generous and candid insight into the art business! I look forward to your posts and have found them immensely helpful and encouraging - can't wait for your book!

Thnaks for the above re using contrcats also - I wonder if you would share the contracts you use? Obviously just the general outlines and not specifics - but it woudl be really helpful to have a template that a successful artist / business is using.

Thanks again,

Best regards,
Ginny
